This years ornament has wild clay harvested from the creek bed of the Terlingua Creek brushed on the top surface of a warm clay body. Each one then has a unique ocotillo handcarved on its face exposing the clay below. Once fired, the wild clay becomes a satin brown glaze. Lastly, each ocotillo is highlighted with gold luster and fired again and then finished off with ribbon and leather so it is ready to hang from your tree!
