The curving lines of this lamp mimic the landscape sprawled out in front of you at the Sotol Vista overlook in Big Bend National Park.  Hills move gently from side to side drawing your eye across the horizon and lamp base.  Earth tones are used to reference the land of Big Bend.  Wild clay, harvested from the Terlingua creek, is also used as a glaze to separate and define each undulating hill.

This lamp is part of a series that was dreamt up while participating in an artist residency at Willow House  in Terlingua, Texas.

11.5" in height to harp base.  Wired by D & W lighting in Austin, Texas.
