BRONZE WORK

These bronze sculptures were created using the method of Investment casting. This process starts by creating the sculpture in wax followed by building a venting system with more wax around the piece before building up a silica shell around the sculpture.  The wax is then removed leaving only the silica shell.  The shell is heated up and then molten bronze is poured inside.  Skip forward a whole handful of steps and you have the finished piece of art!
